My name is Sarah Tasha Hauber. I work in between the fields of photography, video, performance and social media.I am interested in the topics of gender, body&mind, as well as political and social issues.

My practice as a performance artist is critical and humorous, with elements of drag and pop culture. It extends to the virtual space – where I blur the lines between performance art, political comedy and social media content.

In my artistic photography I document my environment and people I meet within the Viennese queer performance art and drag community. In my staged, often experimental portraits, I work with my own body as well as collaboratively with people from the LGBTQIA+ community.

As a freelance photographer I mostly work with clients from the art & cultural scene, documenting performances & exhibitions as well as shooting artist portraits and promotional material.

I’m part of the art&cultural collective contextcocktail. We provide spaces and an open stage for queer-feminist
perspectives.

Since 2019 I am in the core team of the intersectional feministist platform YEOJA Mag – working behind the scenes and contributing visual & written content.

I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, class of Ashley Hans Scheirl in 2022.
